Take Action!

Save the Purple Line in Maplewood

Maplewood residents: Mayor Abrams has called vote to pull your City’s support for this important bus rapid transit project. Tell your Mayor and your City Council members backing out now is a mistake. Speak up to support the Purple Line!

The Purple Line has all eyes focused on Maplewood! Mayor Marylee Abrams has called a vote this Monday, September 23, to leave the Purple Line Bus Rapid Transit project BEFORE the community hears the evidence for the benefits and impacts. Maplewood backing out would badly damage our chances to develop high-quality transit in the East Metro.

But that doesn’t have to happen! If you live in Maplewood, please send a quick message today to tell your Mayor and City Councilmembers that you support the Purple Line. Take action now–before the vote on Monday.

Many families in Maplewood and the East Metro need better public transit to get to work and school, see families and friends, and access local business and services. The Purple Line can improve people’s daily lives and make our communities more connected and more sustainable with fast, frequent bus service–if our local officials give this project a chance.

Whether you ride the bus yourself or care about someone who does, this is a critical moment to speak up in support. Help save the Purple Line in Maplewood!

Make sure your Mayor and City Councilmembers hear from you before they take a premature vote against the Purple Line. Send a quick message now.
