Adjusting to COVID-19 for the Well-Being of Our Staff and Community
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, Move Minnesota has decided to temporarily close our physical office and adjust some of our programming this spring. We’ve taken these steps because we care about our staff and our community and we believe that stopping this pandemic requires more than business as usual.
Here’s what you can expect from us over the next few weeks:
- Move Minnesota staff will be working remotely starting March 16. Email is the best way to reach our team during this time. We also will be shifting our internal and external meetings to phone and video calls. All work-related travel is on hold.
- Move Minnesota will focus on helping you raise your voice through online actions, emails, calls, and texts. Our in-person events are on hold until further notice. Watch for upcoming communications about other ways to get involved and make a difference.
- Our push for change doesn’t stop. Move Minnesota is committed to staying connected and advancing our mission even in these trying times. We’re prepared to move our work forward, while also doing our part to slow this public health crisis.
- We’ll be in touch. As the situation in Minnesota continues to evolve, we will continue to assess our policies, adjust as needed, and keep you updated.
No matter what we look like, where we live, or what’s in our wallets, illness reminds us that at our core we’re all just human. We’re all in this together. Thank you for your patience and your care as we all navigate these uncertain times.
