Join Move Minnesota to Doorknock for the Twin Cities Boulevard
Join us in Saint Paul on Saturday, July 9 to talk to Saint Paul neighbors about a great opportunity to improve their neighborhood!
Move Minnesota, Our Streets Minneapolis, and Sustain Saint Paul are co-hosting a door knock about the Twin Cities Boulevard project—and we’d love your help. The Twin Cities Boulevard is Our Streets’ proposal for transforming the I-94 corridor from Downtown Minneapolis to Downtown Saint Paul for the State of Minnesota’s Rethinking I-94 Project. The Twin Cities Boulevard is a robust proposal that aims to not only create more space for the communities along I-94 to walk, ride transit, bike, and roll, but also seeks to repair years and years of harms created by a highway that pollutes the air and land surrounding it.
At this event, you will be knocking doors with a buddy (bring your own or we can find you one!) in the Union Park neighborhood of Saint Paul to share this vision and get community feedback. Sign up to help!
Before heading out, you will receive a thorough training both on the project itself and how to canvass! If you have never knocked a door before, or if you have knocked hundreds, we will ensure that you have what you need to feel comfortable doing this work.
We hope to see you on the 9th! Please feel free to reach out to Nas Nourkadi at nasn@movemn.org if you have further questions about the day.
