Postponed: Pack City Hall: Full City Council Vote on Hennepin Ave Bus Lanes & Bike Lanes
UPDATE: Minneapolis City Council is no longer expected to vote on the Hennepin Ave South redesign on May 26. This decision is being strategically delayed so that the City Council can evaluate the full project. We expect the full City Council vote three weeks from now (mid-June). Because of this late development, we will not pack City Hall tomorrow. Stay tuned for more upcoming updates and actions on Hennepin Ave South bus lanes and bike lanes!

Join us at Minneapolis City Hall on May 26 to show City Council members you support full-time dedicated bus lanes and protected bikeways on Hennepin Ave South! This is a critical City Council vote. Council members will vote on the proposed street redesign plan and will also vote separately on the full-time bus lanes.
Dedicated bus lanes on Hennepin Ave South are still at risk. The City of Minneapolis recently walked back their own staff recommendation for 24/7 bus lanes right before a critical committee vote on this important street redesign project. Fortunately, thanks to the continued efforts of advocates and allies and the leadership of Minneapolis Council Members Aisha Chughtai, Elliott Payne, and Robin Wonsley Worlobah the full-time bus lanes still have a path forward and will get a full council vote on the 26th.
Show your support for full-time dedicated bus lanes and protected bike lanes on Hennepin Ave South. Pack City Hall with Move Minnesota, Hennepin for People, Our Streets Minneapolis, Sierra Club, and other local allies on May 26!
