Rethinking I-94 Community Conversation – English with Hmong Translation

Move Minnesota and local partners are pushing for a focus on community wellbeing, climate action, and transit access as MnDOT rethinks the I-94 corridor between Minneapolis and Saint Pauland we need your help.

This month, MnDOT is hosting community conversations and gathering input on its draft goals and priorities for Rethinking I-94. Improving the speed and convenience of driving is currently a top priority for the project—and we know the Twin Cities deserves better from this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Whether you bus, bike, or drive, please join these online conversations with MnDOT staff on November 16 or 17 and speak up for a rethinking of I-94 that reduces driving, and brings our communities clean air, a stable climate, dedicated transit lanes, and safe biking, walking, and rolling connections. Call on MnDOT to address the harms that this highway has caused in local communities of color like Rondo & Frogtown—and work to right these wrongs.

Each online conversation will include a 15-minute informational presentation followed by a 45-minute question, answer, and community feedback session. The 4 PM conversation on November 17, will be held in English with Hmong translation. Register to participate!

Spanish, Somali, and Karen translation is available at other Rethinking I-94 conversations November 16 & 17. See our events calendar for the complete list of scheduled conversations.
