Saint Paul Volunteer Team Training: Educational Programming Edition
At Move Minnesota, we love inspiring people to bus, bike, walk, and roll! It’s part of changing how we get around to make our lives better and our cities more just, joyful, and sustainable. As a volunteer, you can help us with community engagement and local events that connect even more people to the growing transit options here in Saint Paul.
Join us for a special version of the Saint Paul Volunteer Team Meeting on April 2 to learn about Move Minnesota’s educational programming and how you can be involved as a volunteer! New and returning volunteers from across the Twin Cities are welcome to join.
This training will prepare you for future educational volunteering opportunities, and will focus on:
- Types of sustainable transportation options available in Saint Paul and throughout the Twin Cities
- Talking with people about the ways transit connects to our climate, clean air, household budgets, and other benefits for our families and communities
- How to engage and empower people to try new ways of getting around!
By the end of this training, you will know everything there is to know to volunteer for Move Minnesota educational events throughout Saint Paul.
A light dinner will be provided, so please RSVP to help us plan for you!
Move Minnesota’s Saint Paul Volunteer Team typically meets on the first Tuesday of every month to make positive changes around transit, walking, biking, and rolling in our capital city! If you have any questions about our April training or about volunteering with Move Minnesota, please email Julie Johnson at juliej@movemn.org.
Note: Move Minnesota’s educational programming is funded by the Metropolitan Council, the Federal Transit Administration, and the Federal Highway Administration’s Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) Improvement Program.
