Transit Equity Day House Hearing
Join us in St. Paul to show our elected officials that public transit is important to you for Transit Equity Day! In celebration and remembrance of the life and accomplishments of Rosa Parks, Transit Equity Day (officially on Rosa Parks’s birthday of February 4th) highlights how pivotal transit is in advancing equity across the state. Transit is essential for a Minnesota where people of every race, ability, income, gender, and zip code can thrive.
We are hosting two Transit Equity Day Hearings – one at the Minnesota Senate Building on February 1, and one at the State Capitol on February 2. These hearings will be informational. You will hear from experts and community members on why they support better public transit services and its expansion. Show up for transit advocacy and help us pack the room.
