Transit-Oriented Development and Land Value Tax for Sustainability

Join us for a virtual conversation about the ways that sustainable housing intersects with climate, transportation, and equity. We’ll hear from special guest Michael Krantz, Acting Program Manager of Transit-Oriented Development at Metro Transit. Michael will discuss these intersecting issues and present on his Land Value Tax study.

You’ll also learn about a bill to authorize the creation of land-value taxation districts that will be reintroduced by State Representative Steve Elkins. Elected officials have been invited.

Organized by Sierra Club North Star Chapter and co-hosted by Move Minnesota, Common Ground USA Minnesota Chapter, Neighbors for More Neighbors, and Sustain Saint Paul.

This is an online event. Please RSVP for the Zoom link to join.
