Livable Lyndale Lemonade Stand!

Thanks to volunteers and advocates, we’ve built a powerful community movement for a Livable Lyndale where everyone feels safe and included, no matter how they get around! Since Hennepin County began the planning process in 2023 for reconstructing Lyndale Avenue from 31st to Franklin, we’ve mobilized thousands of people to support a design that includes wider sidewalks, curb-level bike lanes, and full-day bus lanes. Through rallies and bike rides, postcards and petitions, we’ve amplified community demands and created incredible momentum around this once-in-a-generation opportunity.

But we need to keep the pressure on in the final weeks before project leaders release the final design. Join us at our lemonade stand at the bottom of the Soo Line Community Garden (on the Midtown Greenway) to enjoy cookies, drink lemonade, and help collect postcards to deliver to Lyndale reconstruction decisionmakers — we want bus and bike lanes on Lyndale Avenue South! RSVP for the July 26 Lemonade Stand!
